Marketplace standard

Rules that protect
the exchange.

AvianTrader is for accurate, lawful, humane, and reviewable aviculture activity. Publication is discretionary; a pending submission is not an approval or a verification.

A shared standard

Clear records make
better markets.

Listings, profiles, reviews, and recommendations need to represent the facts as they are known. Members remain responsible for the accuracy of their own representations and for verifying the information that matters to an exchange.

AvianTrader may review, hold, reject, archive, or remove content and restrict accounts while a concern is assessed.

01 / Accuracy

Represent the bird honestly.

Do not misstate species, sex, age, health, mutation, provenance, ownership, or captive-bred status. Use photographs and documents you are authorized to share.

02 / Lawful care

Keep welfare and rules in view.

Do not offer unlawfully possessed, prohibited, or improperly documented birds, or use the service to evade permits, inspection, or legal requirements.

03 / Privacy

Protect people and records.

Do not publish private identity, financial, permit, veterinary, or address information without authorization. Keep sensitive details in the appropriate private channel.

The line is deliberate

No fraud. No pressure.
No shortcuts.

Harassment, discriminatory conduct, impersonation, fabricated reviews, paid recommendations, payment fraud, and requests to bypass platform safeguards have no place in the exchange.

Species eligibility and required evidence are not decided automatically. If a listing, profile, or request does not align with these standards, pause and use the available reporting controls.
