Effective July 18, 2026. AvianTrader collects the information needed to create and secure accounts, publish member-authorized profiles and listings, support private inquiries and messages, review reports and applications, and maintain marketplace records. This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, general locations, account choices, listing and profile content, communications, moderation records, transaction confirmations, reviews, and technical security logs.
How information is used
- Provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the marketplace.
- Authenticate accounts, send service messages, and review seller or credential applications.
- Moderate content, investigate reports, prevent abuse, and preserve marketplace integrity.
- Comply with lawful requests and enforce the Terms of Service and Marketplace Rules.
Public and private records
Fields identified as public may appear in listings, breeder profiles, reviews, recommendations, and verification outcomes. Account contact details, private inquiries and messages, reports, applications, and moderation records are restricted to the participating member and authorized administrators as appropriate. Do not place government identification, credential documents, precise private addresses, veterinary records, tax information, or financial information in public content or ordinary messages.
Service providers and disclosures
AvianTrader uses hosting, database, security, and email-delivery providers to operate the service. Those providers may process information only as needed to supply their services. AvianTrader may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or in connection with a business transfer. AvianTrader does not sell personal information.
Cookies and analytics
WordPress uses essential cookies for authentication, security, preferences, and form operation. AvianTrader does not use advertising cookies or behavioral advertising at launch. This notice will be updated before materially different analytics or tracking is introduced.
Retention, access, and deletion
Account and marketplace records are retained while an account is active and afterward only as reasonably needed for security, moderation, dispute resolution, legal obligations, and legitimate marketplace records. Members may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible account information through the Contact page. Some records may be retained or de-identified when deletion would compromise legal obligations, fraud prevention, moderation history, or the rights of other users.
Security and contact
AvianTrader uses access controls and reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Report a privacy or security concern through Contact AvianTrader. Material changes to this notice will be published here with a new effective date.
